National Poetry Month

The Encino-Tarzana Library hosted a fun creative workshop to celebrate National Poetry Month. The workshop was led by Monica The Creative Beast, a local book artist, who showed workshop participants how to make a colorful book and how to play with writing haiku poetry using "Paint Chip Poetry - A Game of Color and Wordplay." Participants enjoyed hearing about different forms of written poetry, the fun of writing haiku, and learning to make a book filled with COLOR!
