Part of the Sepulveda Basin area, Woodley Park has many uses. The Leo Magnus Cricket Complex may be the best cricket fields in the west. For safety, an area is fenced-off for archery. There is access to the Wildlife Reserve and to the Japanese Garden. Occasionally there are dog and car shows, filming, and festivals. There is an ampitheatre, often used for lectures for groups visiting the Wildlife Reserve. The LA Parks website has little information. Google's satellite map provides an excellent overview of the area. The park is often closed during heavy rains due to flooding.
