Dia de Los Muertos at Daniel Daniel Pearl Magnet High School
Tuesday, October 29, 2019

FOL provided pots and paint and Lowe's donated the succulents for a high school outreach program. Teens painted the pots in sugar skull style, added a succulent and placed them on an altar celebrating Dia de los Muertos.

SNRise Youth Empowerment Workshop - Wednesday, July 1, 2019

This teen-led workshop series focused on building self-confidence in youth through various methods of self-expression. The teens worked on building public speaking skills and also used art and writing as forms of expression. For this first workshop, 18 teens made pin-back buttons that represented themselves and their favorite things.
